Dr. William Thorpe is an engineer and a scientist who spent many years working for a voice and communications department in the University of Sydney. Mainly he was doing some extensive research on how people sing.
Dr. Jean Callaghan is a freelance teacher, researcher, and a consultant in vocal performance and pedagogy. She is an accomplished singer in Australia, England and Germany and has taken big roles in the many voice associations in Australia.
Pat Wilson has worked for more then 25 years as a signer, pianist, musical director, composer and teacher. Right now she’s taking up voice research at the University of Sydney.
Dr. Jan Van Doorn is a physicist with a burning passion for adapting technology to the science of voice. She was one of the original researchers in the visual feedback research project.
Jonathon Crane graduated with Honors in Computer Engineering in 1998. Ever since then he has worked very hard in developing hardware and software for companies such as Canon Information Systems Research Australia, Lake DSP and Bullant. Jonathon also develops applications for mobile phones and PDA’s. He’s also very passionate about music and this has resulted in several commercial releases from which he performs regularly.
